When you submit a request for legal services, we will collect additional information about your request. On these pages, we specifically ask that you do not provide personal information or confidential information, but collect this information if you voluntarily provide it to us.

Lawyers are charged a fee to use certain features of the Service. For billing purposes, we and our third party service provider, Stripe, Inc. (“Stripe”) collect personal information such your name, address, email address and credit card details. LawyerLinx may disclose your personal and other information as follows:

  • we share client job proposals with lawyers;
  • when a client accepts a lawyer’s job proposal, we share the client’s and lawyer’s contact information with the other party;
  • we may use third-party service providers to help us provide, analyze and improve the Service (including, but not limited to, development, data storage, maintenance, marketing, analytics and payment processing);
  • if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, but we will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on our website of any change in control or use of your personal information, or if either become subject to a different privacy policy;
  • to confirm or update information provided by you;
